Attorney Gloria Allred and her Clients, Robin Tyler and
Diane Olson, to Hold News Conference Tuesday, May 26, 10 AM, to React
to Supreme Court’s Decision Their Case Challenging Proposition 8's Ban
on Same Gender Marriage.

Attorney Gloria Allred, her clients, Robin Tyler and her
spouse Diane Olson, and a couple who wish to marry but cannot because
of Prop 8's ban on marriage equality (Cheri and Cathy), will hold a
news conference on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at 6300
Wilshire Blvd. Ste. 1500, Los Angeles to react to the California
Supreme Court’s decision in the case that they filed with the Supreme
Court challenging Prop 8.

The decision is scheduled to be published and released on
May 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Ms. Allred and her clients will react to
it as soon as it is released.

The battle began five years ago when Ms. Allred and her
clients, Ms. Tyler and Ms. Olson became the first in the State to
announce that they would challenge the denial of a marriage license to
a same gender couple as an unconstitutional ban on their right to
marry.

The couple was denied the license in Beverly Hills, Ms.
Allred filed a lawsuit and after a four year legal battle they won the
right to marry in the California Supreme Court.

When Prop 8 passed banning marriage equality once again,
Ms. Allred immediately filed the legal challenge on behalf of Ms.
Tyler and Ms. Olson who had married, and on behalf of another same
gender couple who wished to marry but could not because of the passage
of Proposition 8. The Supreme Court once again accepted their case
and Ms. Allred and her clients are waiting anxiously for the Supreme
Court’s decision.

Both couples will be present with Ms. Allred Tuesday to
react to the court’s landmark decision.
