Equality California to Co-Host April 1 Town Hall on Prop. 8, the Fight for the Freedom to Marry

LOS ANGELES - March 31 -

WHAT: The first of a statewide series of Town Hall discussions where
members and allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
(LGBT) community can join in an open dialogue about the ongoing fight
for the freedom to marry. Legal experts will share their perspectives
on what is likely to happen in the Prop. 8 legal challenges and take
questions. Leaders from several community organizations will discuss
efforts happening across the state in support of the freedom to marry.
The final 90 minutes will be dedicated to open discussion. Those who
cannot attend will be able to watch the meeting via live webcast at
www.lagaycenter.org/townhall.
