Every time I am trying to connect to hoi4 multiplayer game, the game says that I have different version of the game(I understand why)/server denied my request. There were few times when I was able to connect to multiplayer game, but for some reason I could not text in the chat, and got kicked after few minutes. And yes, I know that I have to change my name from player into something different. And also, I have no DLCs, because I am broke. Can anyone suggest anything?
I need help joining multiplayer games, whenever I try I am told "Failed to connect". This first started yesterday, when I was trying to play with a few friends of mine and I was given this message. I have no mods on, the version seems correct, but when I go to play online it is listed as a different version. (It should be 6f7d, but it says e913.) It seems this is the problem, but I can't find how to fix that. Does anyone know how I could fix this, if possible?
One common thing is that on your servers the litenetlib connection fails and the network code falls back to steamnetworking. You can see that in his client log there is always the line "INF NET: LiteNetLib: Connection failed: ConnectionFailed".
