Isan upcoming Oculus Rift game about PUNCHING SHARKS because it can apparently be therapeutic for very specific individuals. SHARK PUNCH's trailer is incredible and should be viewed at all costs, unless you are PUNCHING AN ACTUAL SHARK in which case savor the moment. For it is wondrous yet fleeting, like a springtime snow.

SHARK PUNCH is a collaboration between Team Chaos and Chaotic Moon that's currently on display at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. It's about PUNCHING SHARKS in first-person, and it's being designed to make full use of both Oculus Rift and Leap Motion. There's not really much else to say about it.

It looks a little janky and simplistic right now, but I'm willing to give it a chance because my left leg was taken by a shark below the kneecap and wait no that's just what happened last time I played Far Cry 3. I did really like hitting sharks in Far Cry 3, though.

Today at games conference PAX East, Oculus made two new announcements: a new title to be released on launch-day with Quest, the company's forthcoming standalone VR headset, called Dance Central VR, and an all-new trailer for Stormland, an action-adventure game from Insomniac.

As a game that de facto requires an incredible amount of movement, it is form-fit for the Quest, the first-ever consumer standalone headset with six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) functionality. The game will also have Rift platform support.

In my experience demoing the game at Oculus Connect 5 last September, I found that Stormland is one of the most richly detailed VR games I've encountered -- which will show well on the improved visual fidelity of the Rift S.

Today, we are excited to announce our latest immersive experience, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, coming to Oculus Quest in 2019. ILMxLAB Executive in Charge Vicki Dobbs Beck, and David S. Goyer, writer and executive producer of Vader Immortal, revealed the first details onstage at Oculus Connect 5, including a teaser trailer and our collaboration with Oculus.

Set up by the events of our hyper-reality story Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire (an award-winning collaboration with The VOID), we are focused on connecting the broader narrative between home- and location-based VR experiences, a first for the virtual reality industry.

While all eyes were on the new trailer and demo for Resident Evil 8, Capcom had a special treat to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the game series during its April stream: Resident Evil 4 VR is coming, and will recreate the classic action horror game in virtual reality.

Ten years after a family tragedy, a pair of siblings embark on a journey to prove that a supernatural force killed their parents in the second trailer for Oculus. Karen Gillan stars as Kaylie Russell, who welcomes back her brother Tim (Brenton Thwaites) after spending years in protective custody, deemed as a danger to society. After reuniting with his sister, they set out to finish what they started, to prove that a mysterious mirror known as the Lasser Glass is actually responsible for the deaths of their parents (Katee Sackhoff and Rory Cochrane). In addition, Relativity Media has released a new poster and six photos from director Mike Flanagan's thriller, in theaters April 11.

Ten years ago, tragedy struck the Russell family, leaving the lives of teenage siblings Tim and Kaylie forever changed when Tim was convicted of the brutal murder of their parents. Now in his 20s, Tim is newly released from protective custody and only wants to move on with his life; but Kaylie, still haunted by that fateful night, is convinced her parents' deaths were caused by something else altogether: a malevolent supernatural force unleashed through the Lasser Glass, an antique mirror in their childhood home. Determined to prove Tim's innocence, Kaylie tracks down the mirror, only to learn similar deaths have befallen previous owners over the past century. With the mysterious entity now back in their hands, Tim and Kaylie soon find their hold on reality shattered by terrifying hallucinations, and realize, too late, that their childhood nightmare is beginning again...

Untold Games has released a trailer that shows some gameplay from its VR adventure title Loading Human. The game is set to release on PSVR and Oculus Rift though a release date is yet to be confirmed. Loading Human is an episodic game and the first chapter takes place in the 22nd century where you take on the role of Prometheus.
