Any Updates on this project??

Hi all,

Hope all of you guys doing fine. This project just came into my mind for some reason and I was wondering if we made any progress on this later on.

I know its quite a long time ago and everyone must be busy with work and stuff. 

But can we do something to re-launch this project?

Its great pleasure to collect that amount of money it the first phase.
Scanned copy of bank book will be published in photo gallery as soon
as I obtained the passbook. (Some difficulties occurred while getting
the passbook cos this is a charity account. Hopefully will be able to
clear it after produce few pending documents.)

Our target is to get Rs. 500,000/= before end of May 2009. So we
kindly request you to donate generously. We only expect you to donate
ONCE, but if you are willing of course you can donate more than once.

Easiest way is to donate money to the Sampath bank account,

When you deposit money to the account, ask the bank staff to mention
your name as the depositor. This will enable us to identify who
donated money. (Usually they don't add this field)
Once you deposit the money, please send the copy of deposit slip to us
either by fax, snail mail, or email. That will help us to confirm your
deposit and issue a receipt for your donation. (Photo of the deposit
slip is ok)

Hi All,

      I think there were couple of discussions with officials in "Matara Bodhi Arakshaka Sabha" to hand over management of scholarship to them which didn't materialize for various reasons. Then I had a casual chat with Chathura Galapatthi of having and event and at least giving one time scholarship of collected money and a small ceremony to facilitate. He said such facilitation ceremony can  be arranged but how we can gather people? So unfortunately nothing happened after that I guess. Any more suggestions?
