I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas.   It has become fairly obvious that most of us aren't interested in the Dawnspring sims any more. I was still keen to play but waiting on replies from others, and we can't run a sim with half the crew not posting. These things happen, sims wax and wane. It has been a lot of fun but it's fairly obvious that it's over.   I am therefore going to pull my PCs from the Dawnspring sims. I'll reserve them for possible use in future sims.   I'm currently playing EverQuest II, which I've dabbled in for years. I tried Star Trek Online and wasn't impressed, but there's been a couple of updates since then so I might be tempted to give it another go.   When I get the urge to sim again, as I no doubt will one day, I might try to resurrect the USS Republic. She was one of the two founding sims of the AQSG and a damn good ship in her day, and I still have moderator access to the mailing list.   Thanks for all the good times guys, it's been fun. I hate to say I think I'm officially done for as well.  As much as I would like the idea of doing more, I think here is a good spot to leave it as any.  Please stay subbed Sarah, as we'd love to stay in touch, I'm sure.  This list seems a nice place to stay connected.  I've been stalling on hanging up my pips for awhile, thinking one day I'd get the itch again, but it seems not to be.  If being unemployed hasn't given me the bug, not much will it seems.  I can't thank each of you enough for all the fun over the years and the hard (sometimes very hard) work.  We helped make three fleets what they were, and they were pretty incredible.  I'll be around this list if anyone ever wants to say hey, do things, whatever.  As for gaming, well, World of Warcraft has become my vice at the moment.  You can also catch me on Facebook, if I don't already have you on there.  If there is a will to keep things moving sluggishly or otherwise, I will of course enjoy the show.  For now though, it will be from the side.  And with fuzzy slippers.

On such a momentous occasion as a possible sign off for the game itself, I feel like there ought to be a parade or something.  I more feel like Shatner on the balcony at the end of a Boston Legal episode though.  A brandy, a cigar, and some quiet reflection. 

If the building is going to be vacated, dear friends, just dim the lights.  I'd like to linger for a bit.

I can see why!  It's pretty cool.  I started a couple new characters myself.  New characters seem to have an edge,  What server(s) are you on?

I'm on the Europe servers. With a human, dark elf and Bloodelf. Warlock, Warrior and Mage. Now got Star Trek online. Not too sure if I want to play the game first or try on the free tee-shirt.
