OK, so I went a bit nuts.  Here's one possible place to host the game.  Google does not do it for me any more.  The logo is custom, bonus geek points if you can ID the symbol.
This is a sample only.  Didn't take long to throw together.  Could easily do one for the Quetzo if that was the preference, or redo the Damocles.  Whatever peeps wanna do.

So this means we’re now members of the Green Lantern core?

Well spotted!  Blue actually!  Symbol of hope.  Just goofing around, it doesn't have to be that logo.  I was just having some fun. =)

You win a pie.

Say, since they sorta rebooted Star Trek with that movie, why not us?  Since, in that movie, Vulcan is gone and the fleet is rebuilding with a seemingly limitless frontier out there to explore.  Kinda makes everything old, new again.

Sounds like a possibility to me.

What did you have in mind?  I haven't seen any JJ Trek sims as yet.  We might be a first at that.  You thinking the TOS era maybe?  A Q ship would have way more relevance in an era where both Klingons and Romulans are an active threat, if we wanted to combine that idea with this one.  I also already grabbed the JJ Trek rank pips a while back, never did make a plan for them.  No wrong way to go if we did that kind of sim, I guess.

What does anyone else think?

We could pick up right where the movie leaves off. Since it is a basic reboot of the ST universe we have a gazillion options open to us now. I think the Qship might be a bit much. While it is an interesting idea. We have a chance to do some real exploring and adventuring that doesnt always end up blasting everything in sight. And besides the usual suspects (Klingons, Romulans) we have Gorn, Tholians, possibly Cardassians (not sure when first contact was made), Orion Pirates, etc, etc.

Assisting in the rebuilding of Vulcan colonies with the loss of their homeworld makes for a great backdrop I think.

I am still here, but just not on the net much.  I have a few ideal's that I will share tonight :)

From the perspective of evolution, the great questions of life have hopeless answers. A person is a bunch of chemicals that by chance come together for a period of time and then will fall apart again at some time. There is no greater meaning to life. It, more or less, leaves out the possibility of a soul or spirit and life continuing after the death of the body.
