So sorry to hear of your loss Jules, It's so hard when our beloved pets leave us, especially when they have become family members. I too have a fur baby who has had a lot of trips to the vet recently.

The will to play is still here, I was in fact waiting for replies from Jules, but clearly there was a reason for the comms silence.

Perhaps, after a little rest time, we might do a poll to see who is still interested in playing and, if there is enough interest, re-shuffle the crew a little and try again?

But for now the vibe seems to be that everyone needs a creative breather, which is understandable.

Love you all

Sarah

Hey Lovely Sarah

I'm sorry if you sent something that I didn't reply to.  I point the finger at AOL and it's crap delivery/spam filter nonsense.  I've had this trouble over and over before as you know.  I'll go to the site and see if I can change my email settings to one of the hotmail or yahoo addresses that seem to be more reliable, if that's a word one can use for any email address....  :(   I actually thought it was you who had given up and that I was, like Philippa, waiting on your reply, I'm really sorry.  ::hugs 1,000 apologies::

It's not important.  I think from what you said, you might find it less than fulfilling for there to be only three of us posting actively, although again, it all depends on the *creative* need/will to do so.  I write every day still and both of my two most active RPGs are written 90% back and forth with only one other writer from each sim.

There are 'also rans' but Dayne and I write a whole starbase of characters, just the two of us.  We write religiously every day and we're on the finale for Series two, Episode 12.  We have a cast of 24 characters, 12 women & 10 men, every race and hybrid you can imagine, even Genetically Enhanced Angosians and half-blood Ba'Ku's and I hate to think how many words we've put down so far, but the figure 40,000 was mentioned last week.

My other co-conspirator, Dan, writes with me on two other, different, sims.  My most awarded character has earned (by volume and quality of posting) the position of 2CO - on a 30 members sim - with 350 full length posts, only less than one other player - also the rank of Commander (which only 2 players have worked their way up to on this sim - not even the Captain who was appointed at his rank as a given).  On the other sim my girl has worked her way up to Lt. Cmdr. in just under a year and was, only last week, commended by the Fleet TFC as "an inspiration and one of the hardest working writers on this sim".

So you see, despite the vibes here, I have NOT lost my creativity nor my writing-energy - so if ANYone wants even the smallest part of it, PLEASE, be my guest.

luv Jules (Aj),
;)

Okay so it was three days since they had found and dispensed with the cure, but the ship was quiet...basically it was no one wanted to speak to anyone else on the ship in case they found out they had done something prior to the cure. Anton Correrai had decided to lock himself away with the excuse that he was writing a paper on the Savarampas virus and the Serigraph. Brushing off sickbay work. With the comment that there was enough on duty and not to bother him unless it was a RED RED alert...But it was more of a case that he wanted to thump any crewman who looked like he was about to admit he had broken into his quarters and had shaved his pussy.
