Hey guys

My heartfelt wishes for you both, Chris and Rion and much love to your wives too at this extremely difficult time for you all.    Much love to Marion and his wife too, so glad to hear she's still doing well.   I remember the dark clouds over that diagnosis and I've been lucky enough to have emerged like Marion's lovely wife.  It's an ordeal I wouldn't care to revisit so I'm feeling for you all.  I *am* a survivor though, so if there's anything.... even just an ear that understands.... please.... don't hesitate.  I mean that, seriously.

If all I get to do is to just offer some small support, it would be a drop in the ocean in return for all that *i* was given by those who had come through it before me.  I was very lucky not to be affected until after my children were born.  In fact I was very lucky on all counts.  I'm praying for your lovely ones too and I know medicine has come on so much and early detection is very successful now.  I had my op long ago and now they're even more effective and successful so there is a lot of hope.  My heart is with you all.   ::hugs::

Not to trivialize any of that of course, but on the lighter side of what's been discussed, I too would be very interested in a re-group for some rpg friendship and escapism.  Please count me in for list-hopping, new ships, mergers, anything that shines a fresh light onto our little group.  It's so brilliant that we're still hanging together.  That alone is worth a restart of some sort?  :)

Funny you guys should all be interested in a reboot.  There's talk of voluntary consolidation of existing games in AQSG.  Reason is, I think they all died off!  Ack!

There's still some active players around here and there.  We might end up with more activity to work with if we joined on to any such efforts there.  This wouldn't mean closing this list, we can always come "home" here and play on this list, but we might have a lot more activity to run with on a joint list that has multiple ships.  Just thinking out loud, let me know what ya think.  There's a group with pretty stable admins (I think) that could be the hub for it all.  Still working out details, just wondering if that had any appeal for us?  Might be a lot of ships/activity to join on to or create over there.  No pressure, just wondering if that sounded good.

Let me know,

Meh, fine by me.  Whose running the ship?  I'll try to keep up.  Not so great at that for awhile now, but I can try.

Tuning in and catching up.  Chris, I truly sympathize.  My wife and I may be in almost exactly the same boat.  Jury still out on the medical front, but outlook not so positive.  Jobless a year now myself.  Mortgage limits my options too, which is crappy, yet working out strangely.  Slooow bleeed.

So, a belated hello to you all and my sympathies to you, Phillipa and Chris.  Nice to see you all kicking around in one form or another.

My best to you all!

How is your wife doing Chris?  Mine has been cancer free for almost two years --- YEA!!!!

BTW, I am also interested as well.

From the perspective of evolution, the great questions of life have hopeless answers. A person is a bunch of chemicals that by chance come together for a period of time and then will fall apart again at some time. There is no greater meaning to life. It, more or less, leaves out the possibility of a soul or spirit and life continuing after the death of the body.

Hey all,

I would be interested as well.  I did not lose interest, but being out of work and my wife had cancer kinda occupied my time a little more

Philippa, I'm so sorry for your loss.

What sort of plot or scenario would you guys like to pursue....  tbh, i think the others have lost interest but we four could make a go of something?

True friends and footprints, etc.  :D

Any suggestions?

Well sorry as if I seem as if I’ve fallen off the face of the earth. My dad died quite suddenly in he spring and I’ve not been at all in communicative mood. But now I feel as if I’d like to do some RPGing again. What are the ships again that are active. And what do they need?
