Hey all,

It's been awhile, and being as inactive as I have been, I am finding a
bit more interest and creativity is returning to the old brain cells.
Wondering who all might be up for doing some more simming, either here
or on some other sim you may be on. Anyway, drop me a line if there's
a spot open anywhere or sumpthin'. I might be swinging back in to
things.

Cheers,

-Frosty

Hey your Frostyness!

I've started simming on the USS Thunder, a ship that's part of the Starbase 118 fleet. :http://www.starbase118.net/

It's extremely active and full of good writers and we've just started on a new mission. You'd be most welcome.

You might recognise the Thunder's CMO. :p

Glad to hear that you're feeling creative again.

*Hugs*

Sarah

I'll be interested simming again.  Sarah, I'll keep your site in mind.

From the perspective of evolution, the great questions of life have hopeless answers. A person is a bunch of chemicals that by chance come together for a period of time and then will fall apart again at some time. There is no greater meaning to life. It, more or less, leaves out the possibility of a soul or spirit and life continuing after the death of the body.

I just realised that we're actually listed on the website as the Duronis II Embassy. Our sim has a planetary base with a support ship, the USS Thunder.

Ah, that makes more sense.  Was browsing the site and didn't see one.  =)

Some great simming history on the YG archives for these games for sure.  Busy group!

Very busy, and very good. The Embassy group was previously the crew of the USS Ronin and we had the highest sim rate of the fleet. We also have some excellent simmers.

They do use an odd simming format with different symbols denoting speech, thoughts etc, rather than using a story-telling format as we did. This felt stilted and odd to me at first but I've rapidly gotten used to it.

Let me know if you're going to apply, I can give the CO and FO a heads-up. :)

We'd love to have you.

I did apply through the fleet app, but would prefer to end up around a familiar face or two.  Not sure how stuck on formality they are there.  Format looks easily grasped.  I've seen similar enough before.
