Soon, and very soon, it will be thanksgiving. It looks like everyone
will be here except Frank and Theresa's family.

We need to start planning the menu and find a site. I have checked with
the Hartland clubhouse, and it is rented for this year and next year. If
anyone else has a clubhouse they can check on, or another idea about
where to have it, chime in.

Hey everyone,

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks. Just as a heads up to everyone when planning for quantities of food to prepare, we have been eating a plant based diet (vegan) for the last year. What does this mean?

- We do not eat any animal products, if it had a mom or dad or it has something that came from something that has a mom or dad in it, we don’t eat it (we had an advantage that we already liked hummus tabouli, falafel and baba ganoush). Although we make some exceptions for the boys so they might get a cookie or something

- We are not asking for or expecting anything special or for any accommodations. That being said, if whatever you are making can easily(underscore easily) have another small version made without; eggs, milk, cream, cheese, butter, chicken stock, animal flesh, whey protein etc etc, we would be happy to eat it and I am guessing Kevin would too.

-What we can and do eat in large quantities are all fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, nut butters, some bread, some pasta and any other plants or things made from plants.

Yes they are, big fan of all root veggies and other roasters, good on the grill too. Also, we are not so strict that things in the same vicinity of animal products are off limits, not going crazy here.

We were trying to determine whether we should go to Pikeville first on our way in and then come to Lex on Thursday early afternoon, or come to Lexington early Thursday morning.  The boys were wanting to play in the Turkey Bowl.  We could be there by 2:00.  If that’s too late, no problem, we will come earlier.  Just trying to plan our visits so we can see the baby and everyone else.  We would stay in Lexington through Friday.

It may be warm enough for an outside picnic!!!! Time is not important to us. I think A Marie has to work at 7:00 Jessie gets off at 2. You can do The Turkey Bowl whenever you want. If we start at 3:00 with apps and alcohol ( Tom, can you drink? ) then dinner about 4 ish??
