Tonight in Milwaukee-- 2,400 people will not have a place to sleep, 42% of whom are families with children. 30% of them work but cannot afford housing. Many of the shelters in Milwaukee are full on cold nights, leaving many with no place to keep warm. Where are you sleeping tonight?

Feed the Homeless
Povertunity is an initiative of MA’RUF aimed at providing survival needs to the homeless. MA’RUF strives to achieve this by constructing survival kits consisting of basic food and necessities, and distributing them in person. |

Visit a Nursing Home
There are millions of elderly people living in nursing homes abandoned by their children. While they spend their days in loneliness, our volunteers brighten their day by giving them company, playing games, creating jewelry, and other fun activities. |

Assist our Refugee Families
Assist in resettlement, spiritual development, and basic needs--building a trusting relationship with Milwaukee’s refugee community, bridging gaps, and providing refugees with the resources they need to build families. |
