Condolences to the family of Sr Bahbood Ashraf

The Muslim community mourns the loss of one of our most dearest community members, Sr Bahbood Ashraf. Sr Bahbood's janaza will be held at the ISM after dhuhr prayer on Sunday, April 19th. 

From Allah we come and unto him shall we return.  

Passing of a phase:

Yes! With Sr. Behbood’s demise, a phase in all the masjids in Milwaukee has come to an end. Her spiritual luminescence permeated every religious function. Her compassion, her unique forbearance and her devotion were exemplary traits which never failed to register. She enthused some and motivated some so they could find themselves at ease in the Islamic milieu. Her radiant energy infused those who were reluctant.

In passing she has left a gap that will be difficult to fill. May God accept our Du’as, reward her good deeds and give her a place in jannat-ul-Firdous.
