I received this from a member.  It seems important enough to pass along to the whole list.

PLEASE JOIN YOUR NEIGHBORS in the Conference Room at the Tufts
Administration (TAB) building at 7:00 pm, 167 Holland Street.
As the City continues to move ahead with the focus group meetings, our
community meetings are vital to ensure that our neighborhood works
together so that the site of the Powderhouse Community School is
reused in a way that is most beneficial to our neighborhood AND to our
city.

We are hoping that at our meeting on the 20th, we can begin moving in
the direction of building neighborhood support for what can be done
with the site.

One goal of the meeting is to develop a set of guiding principles for
the reuse of the site.

Just some of the questions that may guide our discussion are:

   * What would the neighborhood like to see?
   * What can we accept?
   * Is development a possibility? If so, what type of buildings?
   * Is park space a high priority?
   * Do we need to maintain a path connecting Broadway to Holland?
   * Would a space for community use/meetings be important?

It is our hope that we can build consensus with our neighbors and be
able to share with the city our neighborhood vision.

This should be a great help to the city as they try to figure out what
they can do that will be acceptable to our neighborhood and beneficial
to our city.
