Copper Mill Public Meeting: Mar 10, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Hello all,

Today, DSNC's board received a meeting notice from Copper Mill. They plan to hold their next public meeting at the Crystal Ballroom a week from today on Tuesday March 10th, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be hybrid with this Zoom Link. The meeting will also be recorded.

They also shared what seems like a mandatory sign-up form if you want to attend in person. Please fill it out as soon as you can if you wish to attend. According to Copper Mill, the form will no longer be accepting sign-ups at 3:00 PM on the date of the meeting.

Thank you very much for all of the time, discussion and input over recent weeks/months regarding the Davis Square housing project.

 

As previously discussed, we will be hosting a community meeting regarding the Davis Square housing project on March 10^th, 2026 from 7:00PM-9:00PM at the Crystal Ballroom; please note, the meeting will also be ‘hybrid’ and available for folks to join remotely, if they prefer; the meeting will also be recorded.

 

Please find attached the meeting announcement – please feel free to post/distribute the attached across your various stakeholders/channels, as we want to maximize the breadth and depth of participation in this discussion. 

 

We look forward to continuing the dialogue on this housing project.

Hello!   I've registered for the Tuesday meeting and received a statement that says "Event Registration

We have received your registration. Insert other information here. Save the link below, which can be used to edit your registration up until the registration closing date."

But there was no "link below" for me to save, to edit my registration.

Also, how will the information I've just submitted be used by Copper Mill? Has anyone asked that question.

This is a reminder to register for tomorrow's public meeting. The meeting is hosted by Copper Mill and will take place tomorrow at 7:00 PM. There were some flyers in the square from another group that incorrectly listed the time as 6:00 PM, so please check your calendars to ensure that you have the correct time. Responding to Melissa and the other people who are frustrated or confused about the registration process for this meeting: I agree. I think it is worth pushing Copper Mill for a better meeting process and asking clarifying questions about their usage of our personal information.

All communications have said the form will be open until 3:00 P.M. today, but the form is currently closed.  Is that because they hit the Crystal Ballroom's capacity, or for a different reason?

Hi Z,

The board was told yesterday by Copper Mill that they were approaching capacity. I assume that they closed the form for this reason, but I don’t have confirmation on that.
