Upcoming Member Verification Opportunities

Good morning,

As you likely know, the Davis Square Neighborhood Council has a board election coming up (April 13-27). In order to be eligible to vote, you need to be a verified member of the organization. If you have not had a chance to do this yet, there are upcoming opportunities listed below. If you are unsure of your status, please check the instructions at the bottom of this email.

To become a voting member

Step 1 - Confirm your membership eligibility 

Step 2 - Fill out the member application form

Step 3 - Show an ID/document from this list to a board member or election committee member to verify your address. Upcoming opportunities:

• All week, April 8-12th at Boston Tattoo Company from 12-8 PM Mon-Sat or Sun 12-5 PM with Jason Zube's team
• Wednesday, April 8th (TODAY) from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Virtual Office hours with Louisa
• Thursday, April 9th from 11 AM - 2 PM - Virtual Office hours with Elaine
• Thursday, April 9th from 3-6 PM at Davis Squared with Paul
• Thursday April 9th from 5-7 PM at the DSNC outreach table in Davis Square's Statue Park (weather permitting)
• Saturday, April 11th from noon-4 PM at the DSNC outreach table in Davis Square's Statue Park (weather permitting)
• Saturday, April 11th from 3-5 PM at Diesel Cafe with Carmen
• Monday, April 13th from 2-7 PM at our election table at the Somerville Public Library's West Branch
• Saturday, April 18th from 9:30 AM - 12 PM at our election table at the Somerville Public Library's West Branch
• Wednesday, April 22th from 4:30 - 8:30 PM  at our election table at the Somerville Public Library's West Branch
• Saturday, April 25th from 9:30 AM - 12 PM  at our election table at the Somerville Public Library's West Branch
• Monday, April 27th from 9:30 AM - 5 PM  at our election table at the Somerville Public Library's West Branch

Please note that there is a black-out period on accepting applications using the "genuine local interest" eligibility criteria from April 12th at 3 PM through April 28th. Any applications that arrive during this period will not be voted on until after the election concludes on April 27th.

Unsure of your voting status?

Check your email for a message from elaine....@gmail.com. It either has a subject line of:

• "Your DSNC voting membership has been verified"
• "DSNC Voting Membership: Need additional information", or
• starts with "DSNC Voting Membership:" and includes information about not qualifying for membership with the information given.
