Hello Group,

I bought a new DAVIS 346 mono which came with stock CS mount lens.

Could anyone suggest a better lens system which enhances the overall acquisition quality compared to the existing one.

Thanks and regards,
Darshan

Hello, we can recommend Kowa lenses in general as being pretty good:

Hello, any C-mount 2/3" lens should work fairly well, 1/3" is very
small I don't think we ever used these.
I can't really help you much more, lens choices are deeply personal to
the application and project you're trying to set up, focal length et
all depend highly on specific application.
Our varifocal 2/3" lens we supply is very generic.
If you have specific distance, focal length requirements etc. then it
makes sense to get a custom lens, but in general it won't magically
increase the quality of the events.

The metal 346 case should be able to take lenses up to 4-500 grams.
Hope this helps, have a nice day!
