The Mexican Graduate Student Association is sponsoring a workshop this weekend: Creating a website using R Markdown and GitHub. The workshop is this Saturday (June 17) from 9-2 in the Teaching and Learning Complex, 1214. It is a long workshop, but full of lots of good information about getting set up to host a webpage on GitHub (agenda below).

9-9:30 Check in on set-up (please try to complete all set-up ahead of time!)
9:30-10:30 GitHub – setting up a project and code workflow
10:30-10:45 Break
10:45-11:30 Rmd – constructing pages for website
11:30-12:30 Website ingredients – turning Rmd into a renderable site
12:30-1:00 Lunch break
1:00-2:00 Rendering – publish the site and refine
