The Sickening Trumpjews at Congregation Kehilath Jarvanka Jeshurun
While we are still processing the Trumpworld evil that took place in Pittsburgh, where a Trump Alt-Right Nazi killed a bunch of Jews at Shabbat prayers, the very chic Upper East Side Synagogue of Jarvanka and the child molester-enabler “Rabbi” Haskel Lookstein sent out the following e-mail:
The tragic attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue today has left all of us in shock. Eleven people were murdered in what is the worst anti-Semitic attack in American history.
We must show our solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Pittsburgh, and pray on their behalf.
We must show the world that the Jewish community is unbowed and unafraid, and will attend synagogue despite acts of terror.
And we must stand up as Americans against violence and hatred.
We urge you to come to synagogue tomorrow morning for 8:30 AM morning services, which will conclude with a memorial prayer for those who were killed, and a prayer for the health of those who were injured.
Please join us for this informal vigil at tomorrow's Shacharit service. We will communicate in a short while about a community wide commemoration that is currently being organized.
May God bring comfort and consolation to the mourners, and healing to the injured.

For those who might not be aware, Lookstein has been accused of turning a blind eye to child molestation:
This is the great Modern Orthodox leader in “action” – or better “inaction”:
Parents of at least one alleged victim said they met in 1980 with Rabbi Haskel Lookstein, who headed Ramaz at the time, and said that parents had reported that Rosenfeld had molested a Ramaz student in a private home. Lookstein did not alert authorities, according to testimonies heard by the investigators who compiled the report, the New York-based law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

To our eternal shame, Soloveichik has brought his Ashkenazi Trumplove to the formerly-Sephardic Congregation Shearith Israel.
The Trumpjews are truly sickening and it will be interesting to see how they deal with their hero in the coming days.
