When looking up the weblink to the program I noticed that Prager made news in the “Overtime” segment of the show which is posted on-line but not broadcast on HBO:
“America is not racist” is an interesting assertion coming from a Trumpist whose aim is to justify anything and everything the Orange Pig and his supporters do and say.
Ignoring Trumpworld Alt-Right Anti-Semitism is truly beyond the pale, but Prager continues to do it, as we so very clearly saw in the case of Pittsburgh Trumpdeath:

In his appearance on the Maher program Prager unsurprisingly denied all Trump malfeasance.
Though he does not at all like the “vulgarity”; which he naturally characterized as “hyperbole,” in order to fully dismiss it.
He dutifully repeated all the usual FOX News White House talking points as he has done in the past.

It was a bravura Prager performance that showed us what PILPUL is like when practiced by a true expert. The idea is to start out with a fixed point, here “Trump is always innocent,” and then to flail about wildly as you ignore the evidence and promote half-truths and outright lies in the most obnoxious manner possible. You must smirk as often as possible, and, for good measure, do a very demonic laugh as you roll your eyes.

Prager certainly earns his ample salary from the Christian Right as the new Jews for Jesus CEO.
But I think the most important fact we learned about Prager is that he is a proud Sabbath violator.
Prager has presented himself as a “proud Jew” in his project to restore religious chauvinism to America:
He is the new RASHI!
The “proud Jew” is in fact a proud violator of the Sabbath, as the Maher HBO program is broadcast live on Friday nights at 10:00 PM Eastern time. That means the show starts at 7:00 PM in its Los Angeles home.
Sunset there on November 1st was 6:00 PM, so Prager was publicly violating the holy day.
But that is something that we should expect from the new Jeronimo de Santa Fe.

Maher stumbled as Prager baited him on the question of Trump’s Fascism. Rather than go all in on the myriad ways that Trump and his criminal cabal have violated democratic norms on their inexorable march toward authoritarian rule, Maher wimped out and said that Trump only “wants” to be a Fascist, as if he is playing Hitler dress-up.
Here is where the insidious PILPUL works to undermine clear thinking: Rather than denying the Reductio ad Absurdum – that America is Nazi Germany – Maher should have pointed to the actual ways in which Trump has embraced lawlessness in his dictatorial presidency and how his Republican lackeys have continued to back him at every turn.
Of course, we still have our Constitution and democratic institutions, but Trump is acting as if he is above them. It is toadies like Prager who enable this debased nihilism.
Even more telling in this regard was when Maher confronted Prager on the matter of whether Trump would voluntarily leave office if he lost the 2020 election.
Not hesitating, as is the mark of an expert liar, Prager insisted that Conservatives would never allow such a thing to happen. As he said this it became eminently clear that he was utterly delusional when it came to the relationship between Trump and his supporters. As Maher correctly pointed out, the Republican Trumptoadies have so far been unable or unwilling to challenge their Duce on anything.
Whatever Trump says goes.
Prager is a very slick snake oil salesman who has crossed over to the side of our Christian persecutors, and has proudly shown himself to be a full-fledged Jewish apostate.
Now it is none of my business whether individual Jews keep the Sabbath as prescribed by our Law, but in the case of Dennis Prager, the man who makes a big show of his religious bona fides as he excoriates others for not showing the proper respect for religion, the matter takes on some urgency:

For Prager religion is the enemy of Liberalism, and he does not miss a chance to make the point that the Left is the enemy of civilization:

While it is always possible to profitably discuss differing ideas in the context of civilization, Prager is a bully always looking of a street-fight, while at the time he publicly violates basic Jewish principles and ethical norms.
We must now allow a Sabbath violator to dictate to us what Judaism is.
American Liberalism has conferred many advantages on the Jewish people, advantages that Prager’s relentless attacks on the Left has put in jeopardy. His blind love of Trump has brought him into a demonic union of extremist agitators who have no loyalty to America, as they have no moral compass in their subservience to a criminal regime.
It was good to see just how much of Jewish hypocrite Prager is, as he places fidelity to Trump over fidelity to God.
