WUHAN Trutherism (1): Not the 1/6 Insurrection Commission, Voter Suppression, and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre
This past week we have been dealing with the pathetically corrupt attempt of the Trumpublican Party, led by intrepid leader Moscow Mitch, to prevent a Commission to uncover the facts of the Trump-led Sedition at the Capitol:
Can anyone say BENGHAZI?
How much did that cost?
How long did it take?
And then of course there is the ongoing attempt to Suppress the Vote all through Trumpworld, which I just discovered has its own Wikipedia page!
Finally, there is the centennial commemoration of the Tulsa White Supremacist terror:
https://groups.google.com/g/davidshasha/c/lVD88k0Rekw
But that, as we will see in the following notes, is all negligible compared to WUHAN!
Just ask Tikvah Tablet whackjob Norman Doidge, who is still trying to get more Hydroxychloroquine:
https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/science/articles/hydroxychloroquine-morality-tale
The Right Wingers have their story and are sticking with it.
WUHAN Trutherism (2): Bari Weiss and Katie Herzog Against the Woke
As I have repeatedly said, Bari Weiss is out there hawking the Cancel Cancel Culture product.
She is so financially successful that she is renting out her Substack page.
Being a Neo-Con Tikvah Jew certainly pays!
On Thursday she sent out yet another anti-Woke piece, this one from someone called Katie Herzog:
https://bariweiss.substack.com/p/what-happens-when-doctors-cant-speak
I was particularly struck by the first paragraph of Weiss’ introduction:
I always thought that if you lived through a revolution it would be obvious to everyone. As it turns out, that’s not true. Revolutions can be bloodless, incremental and subtle. And they don’t require a strongman. They just require a sufficient number of well-positioned true believers and cowards, like those sitting in the C-suite of nearly every major institution in American life.
It is a brilliant piece of PILPUL Gaslighting coming from a true Tikvah Coward who has for so many years duly parroted the Party Line.
Does she harbor one iota of guilt regarding her Alt-Right Trumpist pals?
Apparently not.
For those who follow these things, the link on the word “coward” gets you to New Atheist and proud racist Sam Harris’ website where he interviews another anti-Woke dittohead on “Corporate Cowardice”:
https://samharris.org/podcasts/251-corporate-cowardice/
As I keep saying, it is all in the MISHPOCHEH!
Ms. Herzog is, like Weiss, a Lesbian who has run afoul of the Woke:
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/02/style/what-is-cancel-culture.html
And she, like Weiss, has a chip on her shoulder:
This dogma goes by many imperfect names — wokeness, social justice, critical race theory, anti-racism — but whatever it’s called, the doctors say this ideology is stifling critical thinking and dissent in the name of progress. They say that it’s turning students against their teachers and patients and racializing even the smallest interpersonal interactions. Most concerning, they insist that it is threatening the foundations of patient care, of research, and of medicine itself.
We should note that the word “Trump” never appears in the post; an intentional oversight that reflects the Tikvah Tablet Lysol Insurrectionist spirit.
We will recall how the White House COVID medical team were actually muzzled by the Murderer-in-Chief:
But for Herzog it is all about Race:
“The intellectual foundation for this movement is the Marxist view of the world, but stripped of economics and replaced with race determinism,” one psychologist explained. “Because you have a huge group of people, mostly people of color, who have been underserved, it was inevitable that this model was going to be applied to the world of medicine. And it has been.”
It takes her some time, but she finally turns into Alan Bakke:
Ultimately, the CDC did recommend prioritizing vaccines by age, but race-conscious policies go beyond Covid. In May, the Boston Review published an editorial by physicians Bram Wispelwey and Michelle Morse entitled “An Antiracist Agenda for Medicine.” In it, the doctors argue that in order to address discrepancies in health-care access and outcomes, hospitals should commit to “preferentially admitting patients historically denied access to certain forms of medical care.” That is, they should admit people to health services based on their skin color.
Bari Weiss was a racist when she worked for The David Project, and she remains one to this day.
And now she has a lot of company!
WUHAN Truthersim (3): Bret Stephens, New King of the Jews Demands Accountability!
With all this in mind, can you guess what the New King of the Jews decided to write about?
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/31/opinion/media-lab-leak-theory.html
That’s correct.
WUHAN:
Rewind the tape to February of last year, when people such as Senator Tom Cotton began pointing to a disturbing fact set: the odd coincidence of a pandemic originating in the same city where a Chinese lab was conducting high-end experiments on bat viruses; the troubling report that some of the original Covid patients had no contact with the food markets where the pandemic supposedly originated; the fact that the Chinese government lied and stonewalled its way through the crisis. Think what you will about the Arkansas Republican, but these were reasonable observations warranting impartial investigation.
Can we really think what we want about the Arkansas Republican?
https://www.vox.com/2020/6/5/21280425/new-york-times-tom-cotton-send-troops-staff-revolt
He does not think so:
https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tom-cotton-bari-weiss-ny-times-left-political-correctness
And Bari Weiss agrees!
https://www.foxnews.com/media/bari-weiss-new-york-times
We know that Cotton, like Stephens, is part of The Tikvah Fund universe:
https://www.jns.org/spotlight/jewish-leadership-conference-to-convene-first-online-forum/
Stephens decries Media Groupthink, at the very moment he is engaging in Trump Groupthink:
Good journalism, like good science, should follow evidence, not narratives. It should pay as much heed to intelligent gadflies as it does to eminent authorities. And it should never treat honest disagreement as moral heresy.
This coming from a man whose first NYT column presented Climate Change denial:
Indeed, it is hard to stomach such arrogance from someone whose work draws from one single source – Jewish Neo-Conservatism of the Straussian variety.
Again, rather than examining the failed Trump response to COVID – regardless where it originated – reactionary robots like Stephens are out there still peddling the Lysol line.
WUHAN Trutherism (4): Ross Douthat, Trumpist WUHAN Dittohead
Stephens was not the only NYT reactionary to parrot the Trump line:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/29/opinion/wuhan-lab-leak-theory-covid.html
That’s correct.
Almost simultaneously, his Right Wing extremist ally Douthat wrote essentially the same column!
The Chait-Yglesias argument is that this was a case study in media groupthink, and especially the way that putatively neutral institutions increasingly cover controversial questions, as Chait puts it, “based entirely on how they believe political actors will use the answer.” In this case, because the lab leak theory was associated early on with Republican China hawks like Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, given prominence by conservative publications (Jim Geraghty of National Review has been an essential and evenhanded voice on the subject) and eventually picked up by the Trump administration, there was self-reinforcing pressure — among journalists who covered the story and Twitter experts who opined on it — to put the possibility in the QAnon box and leave it there.
Again, the criminal and corrupt Trump response is completely ignored in favor of Trump apologia.
The issues that we face as Americans – starting with Moscow Mitch’s craven concession to Trump in killing the 1/6 Commission – are set aside, in order to promote WUHAN Trutherism.
WUHAN Trutherism (5): Tikvah Tablet The Scroll Whore of Trump
On Wednesday there was more WUHAN from the Whore of Trump and her minions:
https://mailchi.mp/c4ac107cb323/what-happened-today-may-25-808761?e=4b6f9b46a8
It was the lead item:
Two far-reaching Freedom of Information Act requests for Dr. Anthony Fauci’s email correspondence from the critical early days of the coronavirus pandemic hit pay dirt this week. Across thousands of disclosed messages, Fauci—the face of the U.S. coronavirus response—repeatedly insisted to colleagues and journalists that then President Donald Trump gave him total freedom to speak his mind, and fielded sometimes-frantic requests for advice from both freaked-out colleagues and the likes of Mark Zuckerberg. The more than 3,000 emails obtained by The Washington Post and Buzzfeed give the image of a single man carrying the weighty anxieties of an entire terrified country. But the emails also provide added evidence that people around Fauci took the lab-leak hypothesis pretty seriously from the very beginning of the crisis, even as he undercut the idea in public statements. On Feb. 1, 2020, immunologist Kristian Andersen wrote Fauci that, based on his analysis, parts of the virus “potentially look engineered.” In another email to Fauci, also from Feb. 1—roughly a week after China revealed that Wuhan was under lockdown—an aide reported that funding for gain-of-function experiments, in which viruses were artificially altered in a lab setting in order to prepare for the creation of future vaccines, had been “reviewed and approved” by the National Institutes of Health even after a purported pause in NIH support for such work. Gain-of-function work on coronaviruses almost certainly took place at the partly NIH-funded Wuhan Institute of Virology; thus, this email suggests an early awareness within the U.S. government’s coronavirus response team that the coming pandemic might have been the result of compounding human error—some of it U.S.-sponsored. And on April 18, 2020, Peter Daszak, head of a nonprofit organization that also supported research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and a leading proponent of the theory that the novel coronavirus is fully natural in origin, emailed to thank Fauci for publicly casting doubt on the lab-leak theory. In a one-line reply, Fauci thanked Daszak for his note.
It is starting to sound a lot like Hillary and HER e-mails!

There has been a Lysol Pile-On over it:
RUSSHER, if you’re listening:
Maybe Sidney Powell and Mike Flynn can get to the bottom of it all:

Fire Fauci!

Amen.
