Project Manager Consultant who will perform all aspects of the CalCloud Migration project including but not limited to; Project Planning, Schedule Management, Scope Management, Requirements Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Risk & Issue Management, Change Control Management, Organizational Change Management, and Communication Management.
1. At least two (2) project management engagements on application development projects* with project completion within the last 5 years. Each of these two projects should have a project (not only the contract cost but all costs attributable to the project) budget of at least $500,000.
2. At least two (2) project management engagements for a State of California department project (either with the State or as a State contracted vendor leading a technology migration effort for the State), with the Project Manager having served in the lead Project Manager role. (Lead Project Manager is defined as the person responsible for delivery of the entire project, not delivery of a specific discipline such as Schedule Manager.)
3. Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
4. Proficiency using Microsoft Project.
5. Experience serving as the lead Project Manager for application migration efforts
migrating fifty (50) or more applications.
6. For each project in which the candidate served as the lead Project Manager from
project initiation through implementation.
7. More than 10 years of PM experience Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience providing IT consulting services in the areas of stakeholder communication, developing current and future states (gap analysis), technical architecture assessment, development of functional and technical requirements, and crafting solicitation materials, specifically an IT Project SOW. This experience must be within the last ten (10) years.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing consultant services on large and complex projects based on industry standards and best practices.
• IT Consultant has a four (4) year bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related field
