Description:
We are looking for strong <Role (ex: Developer or Tech Lead> , who has strong experience in industry leading BPM suite and business rules engine (BRE) Pega Rules Processor Commander (PRPC).
PRPC is a Java-based development toolkit automating work processes across disparate operations areas using an accelerated agile development model. You will be part of a project team, performing applicable project life-cycle phases including technical requirements, design, construction and integration testing.
You will ensure that you adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities will include participating in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements, creating technical requirements, technical designs, coding, testing, and deploying workflows and applications for business unit end users. You’ll provide project estimates and updates to project managers. You will learn and employ the bank’s IT Control Policy and Corporate Architectural Standards when designing and building application workflows and create appropriate project documentation. You will debug application issues and provide 3rd level support for resolution of production issues.
- For Level 3 (Developers)
- 2+ years of application architecture and design experience in PEGA applications.
- For Level 4 (Sr Developers)
- 3+ years of application architecture and design experience in PEGA applications.
- For Level 5 and 6. (Module Lead and Tech Lead)
- 4+ years of application architecture and design experience in PEGA applications.
- As a lead,
- Must be able to help Technical/Project manager with detailed estimates for new enhancement/development projects/changes in the existing application.
- Need to ensure that team adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques, and that all technical documentation is complete and in compliance with company standards.
- Should have some knowledge of prototyping and rapid development techniques, agile methodology etc .
Additionally:
- Minimum 5+ years of programming and design experience utilizing JAVA
- Minimum 5+ years working experience with application server technology (Websphere preferred)
- Pega PRPC certification is a Must
- 5+ years experience of enterprise level systems development with strong knowledge of industry standard interface protocols (i.e. SOAP, MQ, HTTP, EJB, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong working knowledge of data modeling standards and JAVA class structures.
- Design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills
- Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
- Knowledge of prototyping and rapid development techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
