Briefly describe what members are, and list the four types of members.

Members are the parts of a class or a structure that hold data or implement functionality.
The primary member types are
fields               holds data
properties
methods  and   
events              implements functionality

I have an easy way to remember this:

2 passive, 2 active 

 

Fields are passive aka you have to set or read them, Properties set and get fields so it is active

Methods are passive aka you have to call them, events trigger methods so it is active.

So really only have to remember passive, them remember how to make them active :-)
