Is there a reason that a fleet of 200 scouts can not take out a single Subspacer??

This is getting really insane. JJ's many fleets of 1 subspacers that he sent to my base are freakin indestructible. Like, my ships can't even get a single hit on them.

So far out of my fleet of 200 scouts it's destroyed 22 of them. Plus the entire list of frigates, subspacers, destroyers & other stuff I've sent to you before.

Send one subspacer set to piracy up against him. Then it's just a matter of who the bug works for first. Send a dozen single subspacer fleets for that matter. It's certainly cheaper than your current approach.

One question -- do most of those single ships set to piracy battles end up as battles, or piracy?  If they're ending up as battles, that's a known issue I've been (slowly) working on.

Battles... They get completely destroyed.

And Slivver, I would but JJ's accounts were all made dormant with the exception of a new account JJ2 which he has named in his hatred of me from my campaign against his cheating. I won't stoop to JJ's height by using a known glitch like he did.

He has it parked next to my capital so every time I build ships they get attacked, my trade routes are literally completely decimated because every time a trade ship auto-pilots its way by even with an escort it gets destroyed.

Could you please just remove his ships from my area at least? It would be one thing if it was outside my base but they're parked right in the heart of my base so I can't just work around them.

I don't understand blatant cheating like JJ's. It makes absolutely no sense why you would go out of your way to do stuff like that. He even announced that he was doing so here on the Google Groups in the JJ thread. While talking about the glitch he specifically said he was going to send a ton of 1 subspacer fleets to be parked in my area & that's exactly what he's done. And I know from his other responses on here that every time I bring it up it gives him a hardon because he's specifically trying to piss me off & give me trouble. While it's not pissing me off it's certainly giving me trouble.

I have barely any trade ships left now... My planet went into Emergency food subsidies for a little bit, that's how bad it is.

Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can even damage his subspacer? It's like my ships don't see him, 200 scouts didn't even damage his ship.

I just said above that I'm not going to stoop to his level by using a known exploit.

But what I just noticed that's crazy is in my turn report my planetary defenses keep trying to attack the ship... They get like 15-20 attacks on it but 0 hits. It doesn't appear that they don't try to attack it, it's just impossible to hit it.

So instead of using a solution that has been provided you continue to insist on coming to the group and bitching over and over and over about a problem we are all tired of hearing about. Dave has done what he can to fix the problem and its even been stated in another thread to let it rest and move on. But b/c you prefer to rant against the previous player and want to stay on your high and mighty horse of righteousness you refuse to use what the game has given you to correct the problem. have fun getting stomped by 1 shp fleets then...

I'm not ranting about the previous player... I'm asking if this is a way to workaround or if Dave can simply remove the offending units because they DONT CORRESPOND TO A LEGIT ACCOUNT.

If you had ten subspacers exploiting a glitch that were sent there on purpose to exploit said glitch by a player who was cheating & it was decimating your trade as well as being forced to pair up arcs with other ships in the hopes that the arc will be able to survive long enough to get past the subspacers you would have an issue with it too.

And me going out & exploiting the same glitch is not going to help the issue, it's not going to help dave at all.

I only heard about this exploit a couple weeks ago & have been given suggestions that didn't work to get rid of it so I was hoping to find a suggestion that actually works. Since others knew about this exploit & others I'm trying to find a way to stop it from happening until a fix is found. So if you don't like it just don't read it. If Dave doesn't want any more reports on this glitch then he's a big boy he can tell me himself. I am in his IRC channel & he can get ahold of me in other ways as well.

All I want to do is play this fucking game... I'm sick and tired of people cheating, exploiting & giving me their opinion on matters I didn't even ask about. Just play the god damned game and if something isn't affecting you in any way then just leave it alone.

But as you see, this is affecting my game play a lot... Not just a little but a lot. I've lost over 50 attack ships to a single subspacer & now there are 9 of them parked around my base. So blow me.

Oh grow the fuck up. You are ranting about a previous player, every post its about how he cheated and blah blah blah, how its not legit and i dont wanna use the same exploit b/c then i wouldnt be any better blah blah blah. If you rae in his IRC channel and have other ways to contact him, outside of the forum where we all have to read, by all means, please do so. then we dont have to read whiney drivel over and over.

nothing you can do is going to help dave about the exploit unless you are a programmer he has asked to help. so using hte exploit to cancel the subspacers is a valid solution.

If all you want to do is playing the game, shut up and play the game. we are sick and tired of people bitching and whining and pissin gand moaning and giving your opinion about things that dont matter or that we didnt ask about. see what i did there?

and sorry, no blow jobs for you today, i left my magnifying glass and tweezers at home.

Haha, it's a friend's IRC channel, and I haven't been in there in weeks.  (just so no one feels left out)

Did you see me ask him to fix the fucking code?? No, I asked if there was a workaround or if he could manually remove the fucking ships.

I'm a donating member & am donating $200 more after my paycheck clears so I'm pretty sure that gives me the right to ask for a fix. I'm not demanding & if you've noticed I've never been pissed at Dave. I'm a VP of IT & know exactly what it's like to fix coding projects so I don't expect things over night. But one thing that helps developers is to know when an issue is happening as well as what exactly the outcomes of said issue are because knowing the exact instance as well as peculiarities of it help narrow down the issues range sometime. However, I do know that most game admins can quickly jump in somewhere & remove objects that are causing trouble which is something I haven't even gone as far to ask. I've asked if he knew a workaround... If there was a group of ships, or some form of attack that would negate said bug. Because when one bug is found, sometimes there's a workaround to get around the bug without having to wait for the code

And  like JJ I'm just ignoring you.. You're just a troll & I do not feed the trolls.

Work around = use the exploit. It works around the current issue most likely and gives dave that much more info on how it works. Its called a win win.

The rest is blah blah I pay money treat me special.

so tell u what... u get off yer high horse and ill come out from under my bridge.

This is my main personal email - I read everything that comes in here.

Everyone: please stop using every email you send to this group bitch about someone, with no added value beyond that. It's harshing my mellow.

This last message, for instance, might better have been an email to Dave, personally. Assuming the goal was to apologize to Dave, I mean, and not just to call someone names.

K? Thx.

Down vote both, obviously.

The fact that Keith is such a whiner doesn't make you any better.
