Miss the galaxy...

I miss Dave's Galaxy a lot. I used to love checking on my world a couple times a day while working I see the code up on github but I'm not sure how to run it. Was wondering if you had any docs anywhere that could help steer me on it? Otherwise I may start digging through the code and see if I can figure it out. It seems to be running with Django and maybe I can get an instance running without too much trouble.

Hmmm, by all means give it a try.  The last time I played around with it, I was writing an ansible script to set up a server, which wasn't quite finished.  I also was rewriting the front end to be more modern (the front end that was running on the live website was xhtml).  This process was also half finished.

 I was thinking about removing the whole feast/famine growth cycle, it never really worked.  I have a long list of features I'd like to do somewhere...

It would be a lot of work, but I miss the game too.
