Excerpt from One Time Alliance meeting 17 / April 15:

"Regarding ways to consult with members, Angela [Keller-Herzog/Ottawa-Carlton] and Keith [Wiley] pointed out that GPC EDA “may” include “None of the Above,” at the discretion of the EDA Executive as an option on the nomination ballot. Voting none-of-the-above is one way members could express their interest in collaboration. Réal [Lavergne/OTA] pointed out that other options exist, such as Gvote or Simply Voting that would allow an online voting process to take place."

350 Canada
The OTA and 350 Canada folks met on April 12 and informally agreed to use their distinct strengths collaboratively: OTA building relationships (esp. with EDAs), 350 Canada pressuring the GPC and NDP through their new, national Climate Energy Alliance campaign.

This Wednesday, April 21, when Davenport Greens set their course at the joint AGMs, those in favour of the One Time Alliance strategy could express that by abstaining from voting in the nomination of our candidate. That's a metric. It seems like an ambiguous one unless you consider that the norm at our AGMs is that people seldom abstain.

Of course, when it's time to vote in Davenport, most Greens will vote NDP, as always. Beating the Liberals, though, probably requires diehard Greens to swallow the pill and vote NDP too.
