Yesterday for the first time I noticed a version of Ps 81:8 - on Mechon-Mamre - that has the word in question with a meteg on the chet - which presumably also signifies that the Kamatz is gadol. Whereas the Koren Tanach and various siddurim I've seen all don't have the meteg, and use the special KK sign (which is the way I've always pronounced it). Checking Leningrad, I notice that it also has the meteg, as does Breuer.
