Dear everyone, we are very happy to welcome three amazing people to our Organizing Committee: Sveta Shubinsky, Lana Vayner and Yan Korol. Together with Irene Dobring, they lead "Mazal Tov" - our young families group. Welcome guys and thank you very much for all you do!!!

Our new fellowship program dedicated to building community leadership, connecting and empowering participants with potential and urge to do something more. The program will build a dedicated group of talented individuals with varrying interests and provide the tools and training to make a difference. Participants will gather for 2 weekend retreats and 8 monthly sessions to explore the many aspects of the Jewish world and community, Israel, Leadership skills and values. This is a pluralistic program that aims for participants to find aspects of leadership and Jewish life to which they connect personally. In addition, the program contains a practical skills aspect, where participants will work on developing a project or a program and implementing it. Micro Grants of up to $1000 will be provided to assist with each project as well as personal mentorship by experts in the field. Participants will be given an opportunity to develop something that can make a difference, without having to put a long term committment into it. Moreover, the program will supply its participants with knowledge and skills that will add to your resume and professional life.

PROGRAM FOCUS:

• Current trends in global Jewish community
• Russian Jews Then and Now: this session should focus on the three following topics
• Jewish pluralism today: The Era of Multiple Jewish Identities
• The models of American Jewish leadership
• Learning community in depth and meeting inspiring communal leaders
• Connection to Israel – Common Ground or Ideological Battlefield?
• How to plan and implement a communal project
