Let's keep most discussion surrounding new episodes this thread. If you are going to post anything please don't put any spoilers in your titles for 48 hours after release. Any other posts should be tagged spoilers.
The fifth season of Too Hot to Handle premiered on July 14, 2023, with half of the remaining episodes released on July 21, 2023, and the rest released on July 28, 2023. The season was ordered by Netflix in January 2023, and was filmed at the Emerald Pavilion in Turks and Caicos Islands.[1][2]
Too Hot To Handle season 5 dropped on Netflix, and it's time to talk about how many episodes of the season there are, and when it ended. The popular show features an all-new cast of Netflix's sexiest singles, all tricked into competing for a cash prize by abstaining from sex throughout the season. Too Hot To Handle has single-handedly brought stars like Francesca Farago, Chloe Veitch, and Georgia Hassarati into the public eye. They may become newly-minted Netflix reality TV stars, but the Too Hot To Handle cast have big shoes to fill.
With the series coming back to Netflix, there's been curiosity about the way the show airs on the streaming platform. Though the series has typically dropped in batches of episodes, there have been seasons where Too Hot To Handle aired all at once, giving viewers the entirety of an installment in one day. While some shows benefit from an immediate release, others do better when they drop on a week-to-week basis, and stretch out their seasons. Though it's typically only over the course of a few weeks, stretching out the episodes has been beneficial for THTH in the past. How will the current season work?
Too Hot To Handle has fluctuated in episode count throughout the series, but the episode count has remained the same for the last several seasons. Having found success being released in batches, Too Hot To Handle season 5 aired the installment in three separate parts. Episodes 1-4 dropped on July 14, episodes 5-7 dropped on July 21, and finally, episodes 8-10 became available on July 28. With 10 episodes total, Too Hot To Handle season 5 will follow the typical THTH format, which has been successful for the series before.
Too Hot To Handle season 5 episodes came out on Netflix on Fridays at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. A trio of batch 3 episodes are available, and were released on the same day, at the same time. Fans don't have to waste any time waiting on episodes, as they can enjoy the complete season.
Too Hot To Handle season 5 features a traditional 10 episodes, but split into several drops to keep the audience's attention longer. With Too Hot To Handle, it's common for the episodes to end on a cliffhanger, especially the final episodes of the weekly THTH drop. Pushing viewers to seek out the following week's episodes, the weekly drop has become common for Netflix series', and cliffhangers are a traditional TV practice. The THTH finale, which dropped with the final three episodes of the season, aired on July 28, capping off a season of rule breaks.
While Too Hot To Handle hasn't always been the most popular reality dating series on Netflix, it has a huge following. Viewers enjoy the show, and look forward to it airing each summer. As the show has changed over the years, the emphasis on making deeper connections, and truly working through issues, has given the contestants more perspective. It's led them to change their lives after the series. While the Too Hot To Handle season 5 cast started with a group of sexy singles who wanted to party, many of its stars gathered wisdom along the way.
The winner of Too Hot To Handle season 5 is Elys Hutchinson. She and Dre Woodard were the two finalists, but ultimately, Elys nudged out the competition. Then, proving she has a big heart, she generously offered to split her winnings with Dre. Congrats to the winner, who helped to make this THTH installment so watchable.

Much like previous seasons, cast members were not told that they were on the Too Hot to Handle show and arrived on set hoping to develop some meaningless physical relationships with others. Mario Lopez even shot some segments of the show as the fake host.
On the other hand, Dominique was hurt to learn about Kayla and Nigel's date and decided to break things off with him. However, she reconnected with Nigel in episode 3, and the pair decided to give their relationship another chance.
Between the yacht birthday parties and his reputation as a player, Alex Kompo needed to change his image. In "How Am I a Lot to Handle?," we get the backstory on Alex's relationship with his two adult siblings, who both have autism, and the entire events of tonight's episode take place at the Kompo's Annual Autism Gala.
If you thought this episode would stray from its normal drama-fueled plots and barely-there bikinis in favor of using the MTV platform to talk about the very real issue of adults living with disabilities, don't worry. There's more time dedicated to showing the cast take showers before the gala than there is to the two speeches Alex makes at the actual event. As Juliette puts it: "The Autism Gala is one of the biggest parties of the summer."
Kelsey, the model who went skinny-dipping with Jared in a previous episode, brings her boyfriend, Jacob, around. While introducing him to her on-again-off-again friend, Chloe, it slips out that she and Jared had some late-night shenanigans. Kelsey explains to Jacob that "nothing happened," meanwhile, several scenes later, she tells Chloe, "Jared kissed me. I didn't kiss him." Keep your story straight, girl.
As you can see, emotions run hot this episode. Nearly every character gets a chance to shed some tears on camera. Like Pauly's grandmother, I wish I, too, could have left Siesta Key behind at the end of the episode and flown to North Carolina, but unfortunately, I'll be back next week. Stay tuned.

Alan brings up a point of leaving Rick to handle Doom-Nomitron by himself, but that irks Supernova as they are the Vindicators, and unlike Rick, they are heroes. Still, everyone, including a reluctant Alan, agree to let Rick handle Doom-Nomitron by himself. Supernova tries to protest this decision as it would leave Earth defenseless, but Crocubot discovers 4893 planets that are in distress. Following Supernova coughing up an ant, as part of her and Million Ants baby, she reluctantly agrees to leave Earth and help the planets in distress.
Too Hot To Handle is back for season two and the series has made its way into the Netflix top 10 once more. A new batch of singletons were sent to a paradise villa for what they believed was a summer of partying. However, they were in for a surprise and fans are keen to see what happens next in the latest episodes.
By default, the Plex TV Series agent uses the episode ordering based on TMDB. However, if you know that your files are named according TVDB, you can change the Episode Ordering preference (under Advanced) when creating or editing your TV library. Examples of the file naming/organization mentioned can be found at the end of the article.
This is only an example. The most important bit in the file name is the appropriate season and episode number notation s02e17 which in this example means Season 2 Episode 17 It does not matter if you use dashes, dots or just spaces.
The summer break is over, but a late-season heat wave caused several local school districts to close. Many schools lack air conditioning. The issue has become more pronounced, even as some districts have decided to start school after Labor Day and as the effects of climate change intensify. This was the hottest summer ever measured in the Northern Hemisphere. The story tops this week's Ideas.
In the second episode of the new master class series on the SEC Marketing Rule, host Patrick D. Hayes talks with Carlo di Florio of ACA Group along with industry panelists Issa Hanna, Partner with Eversheds Sutherland, Amber Allen, VP and General Counsel with Fairview Investment Services, and Chas Spiros, Principal Consultant with the ACA Group. Together, they will provide additional insights on the new rule, including misconceptions, key definitions, timelines, ADV changes, and key features. They also cover tricky legal aspects like promoter vs. solicitor and the withdrawal of no-action letters.
We're redefining our schedule and upcoming episodes to focus on transformation in the face of a pandemic. Join host Dan Baum and his guests for a series of conversations to learn how we process and persist in a rapidly changing world.
As people across the globe strive to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, how do we process the flood of information: some of it misleading, some of it dangerous, much of it dismal. How do we handle the fear and uncertainty surrounding this crisis? How is it changing the way we work, parent, connect and think?
The third season, which came out this week, had many twists from previous seasons. Not only was the prize pot doubled to 200,000 at the start of the show, but the contestants were also more sex-obsessed than ever leading to numerous rule breaks very quickly.
Patrick Mullen's second-biggest cringe-worthy moment was when he used the same flirting tactic twice in one episode. The first time was after his arrival on the show when he was asked about the flower in his hair. Instead of a smooth response, he turned to Holly Scarfone, the woman right next to him, and said "I guess, I'll give it to you."
