There is no iCloud ID. An Apple ID can be used for iCloud, Mac App Store, iTunes, iOS iTunes & App Store, and other Apple services. The password for each Apple ID is the same on all Apple services. You can't have different passwords for the same Apple ID, however you can use the same password for multiple Apple IDs. If you do use the same password for multiple Apple IDs, changing one does not change the others.
Your "iCloud ID" can't be a fictitious email address, if I understand what you are saying. For instance, if my email address is JRi...@Mac.com, my "iCloud ID" can't be JRi...@Mac.com1. Since Apple must contact you, it has to be a valid email address when the account is setup.
I will suggest taking inventory of what you have for Apple IDs by logging
AppleID.Apple.com. Try any and all email addresses and Apple IDs you use.
(Only within Apple's system are JRi...@Mac.com, JRi...@Me.com, and JRietz@iCloud equal. Depending on when you got into Apple services, these domains are not available. Since I was in early, I have the Mac.com address. Today, only the iCloud is available for new users.)
Once logged into
AppleID.Apple.com, you may find multiple email addresses in the "REACHABLE AT" section. These addresses can be uses for iMessages, FaceTime, Game Center, and more. They can't be used as an Apple ID for the account you are logged in.
Also, if an email address is used with one Apple ID or is the Apple ID, it can't be associated with any other Apple ID.
Hope this helps.
