Hi,
My MacPro desktop won't start. It just keeps spinning and spinning. Any help will be appreciated.

Start with holding the Option key down to get to Recovery HD. Get into Disk Utilities and Repair Disk and Repair Permissions.

Next, start with holding the Shift key down until you see the Apple logo and a progress bar under. (This is Safe or Single user mode, which will try to fix things during startup.) Log in and then restart normal.

Did you recently install something?

I did what you suggested and it still keeps going round and round. Utilities stated nothing wrong. What's next?

Forgot to add that I've not installed anything in the last couple of weeks.
