Greetings,
I have had a long involvement in RDF and have recently decided to get
a Doppler running (Greaney 3/4 finished) and would like to consider
encorporating both the notch and soft (band limited) switching.
I had been looking for a Doppler that uses an audio notch to see a
commutating version (I'd seen one some time ago) and came across this
archive. I see that the DF 1 has this as well as several interesting
features. Is there anyone on this group who is familiar with the DF
1 circuitry (I have the schematics - too bad they are so low
resolution).
I saw a post by an owner of a DF 2, but how about the DF 1?
Does the shaped switching of the DF 2 produce a usable increase in
sensitivity?
Posts here should come to me in email, but please also send to k9dci

There are a few interesting things at my site...
How I stow my tape measure beam videos and unique construction
details.
