Datchet Fair Saturday 5th July

Hi Everyone,

 

Datchet Water Sailing Club has a stand at the Datchet Fair on Saturday 5^th July which is a great opportunity to target the local Datchet Village and the surrounding area for advertising the club and increasing participation in our sport. I believe the setup is on Saturday morning and the fair is on Saturday afternoon (exact timing to be confirmed). I am planning to have a sailing dinghy and a rib on our stand so I am looking for help for a couple of ways

 

1)    People who could help man the stand and talk to the public about the activities at our club

2)    Someone who can tow a boat from the club to Datchet to support this event, I could tow them both but it would be easier if someone else could tow one.

 

I know this is short notice but if you have some free time on Saturday 5th and can help it would be much appreciated. Please respond to this email if you are able to help even if it is only for an hour or so.

Hi Mike

You should already have me as a volunteer but, just in case, I can help with the setting up and manning the stand. Please let me know the times etc. when known. I cannot help with the towing.
