It's been pushed back til next year but this spring we were going to capture/validate file-level metadata via JSON schema.

In a way, we may have been fortunate in that Mozilla has a JSON schema/react library for front-end work:

Thanks, Raman. Obbviously, this relates quite strongly to your great work at https://github.com/IQSS/json-schema-test

Gustavo and Leonid, this is also fairly related to the idea of building a UI for entering a guestbook entry based on JSON, which we talked about yesterday. It shouldn't be too tough if we ever need to. As we know, currently filling in a guestbook is GUI-only. I just added this to the list of GUI-only features at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3440
