maven to install an earlier version of dataverse, 5.14

I'm still learning to use maven.   I'd like to install a local version of 5.14 to practice the upgrade to 6.0.  I'm assuming maven can install and earlier version of dataverse?

Hmm, to install an earlier version of Dataverse, 5.14 specifically, I would suggested following this (5.14) version of the Installation Guide: https://guides.dataverse.org/en/5.14/installation/index.html

That is, you shouldn't need Maven.

It's definitely a good idea to practice the upgrade!
