We had a dv server running fine for a while then suddenly it stopped responding. Couldn't load the interface, just times out. I tried restarting everything including the server and all the processes showed as running and OK, the interface still times out. Double checked my firewall and nothing is blocking 8080 between my browser and the server. I even put a temp VM on the same VLAN as the server and the site still times out. Ran tcpdump from the dv server and I see the packets from my workstation to port 8080 on the server, but still times out.
So I scrapped it (we're still in dev) and started from scratch. Installed a new server (AlmaLinux 8) did all updates. Reinstalled everything per the installation guide. It all went fine just like before. But the interface STILL times out. This attempt was the latest version 6.6 so I tried 6.5, same results. I just cannot fathom why the interface keeps timing out yet everything shows as up and running. Has anyone run into this before? Any tips would be appreciated.
