Hello Dataverse Community,
A number of conversations within the Dataverse community have touched on the infrastructure and day-to-day operations of running Dataverse repositories. It seems there may be a group of community members who would appreciate a dedicated space to discuss these topics.
With that in mind, we've created a new Zulip channel: #infra-ops
As with many topics in our community, there will naturally be some overlap with other Zulip channels, and infrastructure-related discussions remain welcome wherever they fit best. The intent of #infra-ops is simply to provide a dedicated home for conversations centered on operating and supporting Dataverse. The goal is to create a place where repository administrators, system administrators, developers, DevOps engineers, and others responsible for operating Dataverse can share knowledge, ask questions, and discuss best practices.
Some example topics include:
Whether you're planning a new deployment, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, optimizing an existing installation, or sharing tools and operational experiences, we hope this channel becomes a place where the community can learn from one another.
If these topics are relevant to your work, please join us in #infra-ops. We look forward to the discussions and to learning from the experiences of the broader Dataverse community.
