Dataverse Community Meeting 2020 Moving Online-Only

Hi everyone,

We hope everyone in our community is doing well in these challenging times.

This hopefully will not come as a surprise, but after discussion with the Global Dataverse Community Consortium and the IQSS Event Planning team, the #Dataverse2020 Organizing Committee has made the decision to transition the 2020 Dataverse Community Meeting to an online-only event. We feel this is the best option to keep the Dataverse Community healthy and also to have the most productive, well-attended meeting possible. 

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We hope to see you on Zoom on June 17th, 18th, and 19th. We’ll soon follow up with information about registration, proposal submissions, a general schedule for talks and breakout sessions, and more. Please continue to save the dates for now.

We know that a lot of you have transitioned to remote meetings over the past weeks, and we welcome suggestions about how to make the meeting as successful as possible. Please email any suggestions to sup...@dataverse.org or reply in the thread below.   

Please continue to take good care of yourself, your loved ones, and each other during this time. We wish everyone the best of health as we navigate the months ahead.

I just learned about the Dataverse Meeting taking place online. I am in Ecuador and I work with graduate students estimating indicators for cities starting from digital data.

Is it possible to join the meetings (have you recorded the sessions?)
