upload individual files with R package "dataverse" to Dataverse

I'm trying to upload files from R (using the "dataverse" package) onto my API Test Dataverse. 

In the old "dvn" package (for Dataverse V3) there was a possibility with the dvAddFiles function. 

I didn't find something similar in "dataverse" package?

Have you tried contacting the author of both the "dvn" and "dataverse" packages for R? You can find his contact info here: http://thomasleeper.com/
