Hello

Dataverse v5.13 improved the Schema.org JSON-LD export https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/7349. We’ve now upgraded to v6.2 and have still the same JSON-LD export for restricted data files e.g. https://data.aussda.at/dataset.xhtml?persistentId=doi:10.11587/EADSOF

distribution: [

{

"@type": "DataDownload",

"name": "10852_da01_de_v1_0.tab",

"fileFormat": "text/tab-separated-values",

"contentSize": 29357056,

"description": "Core first quarter data file …"

}

After the update the file's "download URL" should always be included. Also "encodingFormat" instead of "fileFormat". This setting is ok https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.2/installation/config.html#id318 , are there other configurations settings, I can’t find anything.

Best

Christian

Hi Christian,

Hmm, so you already set
dataverse.files.hide-schema-dot-org-download-urls=false (or removed
that setting) but it's not working? The download URL is still missing?
Very strange. Please feel free to create an issue about this.

Since you're on a recent version of Dataverse, you COULD try creating
your own Schema.org JSON-LD export that overrides the build in one.
Here are the docs:
https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.2/installation/advanced.html#installing-external-metadata-exporters

Another way to have a download URL is to use the Croissant exporter,
but it's still experimental. Please see

I hope this helps,

Phil
