Hi,

Still on 5.14 and payara5.  I'm running into an issue publishing datasets.

I'm wondering if the doi settings in domain.xml have changed.

Mine look like:
<jvm-options>-DProtocol=doi</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddoi.provider=EZID</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddoi.password=******</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Dcom.ctc.wstx.returnNullForDefaultNamespace=true</jvm-options>
<jvm-options>-Ddoi.username=*****</jvm-options>

Thank you,

Jamie,

There are new settings. While the release notes claim that old settings will be picked up, it recommends using: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/blob/master/doc/release-notes/5.14-release-notes.md#changes-to-pid-provider-jvm-settings

In general, I think EZID tries to make a test connection when payara starts so if there is some config issue, you’ll see an error then (which may be more useful than the error at publish time).

Just so I'm clear.  The coding should look like

 <jvm-options>-Ddoi.dataverse.pid.ezid.password=******</jvm-options>

Do the jvm options still start with Ddoi.

Thank you,

Jamie

I've gotten almost everything set but I still need to go back over the documentation and see what  -Ddataverse.pid.ezid.api-url should be.

This has been incredibly helpful so thank you again,

Jamie
