Error in creating Dataset Templates

We encountered the following error when creating dataset templates. 

I am also attaching a server log segment. Our Dataverse version is 6.8. Many thanks!

Some supplementary information:

The dataset template can be created, but it cannot be redirected to the edit dataset terms page because of the null value of "createId".

If the "createId" can be added to the redirecting URL: https://researchdatadev.esu.cityu.edu.hk/template.xhtml?id=21&ownerId=1&editMode=LICENSE, the page can be opened without errors.

Thanks for the bug report. There's definitely something going on with templates. I think bug report is related, at least: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/12590

However, you're on an older version, 6.8. Can you reproduce the bug on https://demo.dataverse.org which is running 6.11? Do you think upgrading will help?

Hi Philip

Thanks for letting me know that it should be a bug and for sharing a dataset template-related problem during dataset creation after setting a default dataset template. 

I have tried to create a dataset template in Demo Dataverse, but could not reproduce the error. Hence, upgrading is a promising solution. Thanks.
