Hi everyone,

We just published a new video, "Dataverse, CEDAR, and RO-Crate: The
Building Blocks of ARP" on DataverseTV
(https://dataverse.org/dataversetv) and YouTube
(https://youtu.be/o_ENdITtIQg).

In this video, we demonstrate the unique features of our ARP repository
(https://researchdata.hu/en), which we also presented at DCM2025 earlier
this month.

These features include the use and integration of CEDAR as our schema
registry, allowing easy visual editing of Dataverse metadata blocks. We
also show how we have made RO-Crate a first-class metadata format in
ARP, with support for exporting, importing, and editing RO-Crate, and
for keeping it in sync with Dataverse metadata block data, while also
enabling the addition of more metadata to files than is possible with a
vanilla Dataverse installation.

For those interested, these features are currently only available in our
own fork of Dataverse, but we are working on making them available in
the Dataverse core in the future.
