Survey on Dataverse installations in Latin America and Spain

We wanted to let you know that the LA Red Latinoamericana y de España de Ciencia Abierta (LA Referencia) has just been awarded the IOI Network Adoption Fund, with the goal of advancing the adoption of open infrastructure and strengthening regional research ecosystems.
Among its objectives is the creation of a regional Dataverse repository for orphan datasets. Based on what was presented to us, we are the Uruguay node in the network — the aim is not to compete with national Dataverse repositories, but rather to provide infrastructure to countries that do not have the means to host their data in a repository.
They are inviting Dataverse repositories from Latin America to complete a form, with the goal that the collected data will allow them to: create a regional data repository (Dataverse), establish a federated technical support network, and identify regional needs and capabilities.
We would appreciate it if those who coordinate and/or manage dataverse facilities in Latin America could complete the survey.

Queríamos comentarles que LA Red Latinoamericana y de España de Ciencia Abierta (LA Referencia), acaba de ganar el Fondo IOI para la Adopción de la Red, con el objetivo de avanzar en la adopción de la infraestructura abierta y fortalecer los ecosistemas de investigación regionales.
Entre sus objetivos está la de crear un repositorio Dataverse regional para conjuntos de datos huérfanos. Por lo que nos presentaron, nosotros somos el nodo de Uruguay en la red, es que no se busca competir con repositorios Dataverse nacionales sino brindar infraestructura a países que no tiene posibilidad de alojar sus datos en un repositorio.
Están invitando a repositorios Dataverse de Latinoamérica a completar un formulario, con el objetivo que los datos recopilados permitan: Crear un repositorio regional de datos (Dataverse), establecer un red de soporte técnico federado e identificar necesidades y capacidades regionales.
Agradecemos a quienes quienes coordinan y/o administran instalaciones de Dataverse en Latinoamérica puedan completar la encuesta.
