Hi everyone,
We have some datasets that were published a few years ago where the Geographic Bounding Box metadata was entered using degrees, minutes, and seconds (DMS) rather than decimal degrees.
These datasets were created and published before the validation was introduced, so now we are unable to save any metadata updates because the existing DMS values trigger a validation error ("... is not a valid entry").
We also have some cases where the warning is: "Geographic Bounding Box has invalid coordinates. East must be greater than West and North must be greater than South. Missing values are NOT allowed.", but in these cases, I understand that the information was entered incorrectly.
Would it be possible to temporarily disable the validator or create some kind of exception for these existing datasets?
Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
