Greetings from the Sensitive Data IG steering committee,
After some review we’re planning to host the next Sensitive Data IG meeting over the week of November 27. Our focus for this meeting will be to highlight current capacities for storing and managing sensitive data in DV repositories. This meeting’s discussion will emphasize currently available Dataverse features for working with sensitive data. To that end, we’ll have two members, Sebastian Karcher from QDR and Sonia Barbosa from Harvard Dataverse, present brief overviews of how each repository works with researchers to share and manage sensitive data in their repository.
Please fill out this poll to identify a suitable timeslot: https://whenisgood.net/nnwmhai. We’ll be using this poll to gauge generally available times too, to help with planning future meetings. The calendar is set for EST, but should have slots available to accommodate other time zones. Please fill out all times you would be available to meet, as we’re hoping to add a number of future meetings to work across our global community. For the rest of this academic year, we’re planning on hosting meetings every other month.
Looking forward to speaking more!
Best,
Katie Mika
