Hello Dataverse and Docker enthusiasts!
Good news! We are kicking off a Containerization Working Group. For the uninitiated, "containerization" is the modern term for "Dockerization" and less vendor-specific. In practice, we're still talking about Docker!
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, involves multiple challenges. You will attend the kickoff meeting on Tuesday, March 21 during our normal community call. To make this extra difficult, we are rolling clocks forward in the US (and other places, I think) so it'll be 11am Boston time (instead of 10am), but still 3pm UTC.
The next challenge will be discussed during the call, but the working group will be tasked with creating a document, a proposal on how to best proceed with containerization, within a month or so after the kickoff. Spoiler alert: our thinking is to get developers comfortable with Docker first, and we're already making a little progress!*
