Dear Community,

We have several important updates regarding the Dataverse Community Meeting 2026 in Barcelona:

1. Early Bird Registration (Deadline: February 28) There are only a few days left to take advantage of the Early Bird rates. We encourage you to complete your registration by February 28th to secure the discounted price.

2. Satellite Meetings Update (May 12th at BSC) The schedule for our pre-conference day at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center is taking shape. Confirmed sessions already include:

Workshops: Kubernetes (K8s) and other technical deep-dives.
Working Groups: Containerization, PyDataverse, and Documentation.
Governance: The GDCC Steering Committee Meeting.

If you are interested in hosting a specific meeting or a joint brainstorm session on May 12th, please indicate this via the registration form so we can coordinate the available space.

3. Official Program Release The organizing committee is finalizing the full schedule following the excellent response to our Call for Papers. We expect to release the official program later this week.
