Not a question, but a clarification about "last call".

"Last call" might be confusing, especially to non-native English speakers. Basically, if you're at a bar and the bartender yells "last call" it means the bar is closing soon and this is your chance to order your last drink (at least at that bar).

For Dataverse 6.6, this coming Wednesday, February 12 is your last chance to ask us to put the 6.6 milestone on a pull request you've created. We may or may not add the milestone, of course. There's no guarantee that a pull request with the 6.6 milestone will be merged before Dataverse 6.6 is released, but we'll try.

An upcoming milestone (like 6.6) on a pull request is something we pay attention to as we QA and code review pull requests in the current (two week) sprint. We also pay attention to milestones as we decide what goes into the next sprint.

Please take this opportunity to let us know which pull requests you think should have the 6.6 milestone, before Feb 12. You can reply here or in Zulip* or however you prefer.

Like Ceilyn said, please let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks!

Phil

Thanks for the heads-up, Ceilyn and Phil!

At DataverseNO, we'd like to ask you to include PR #11232 (IQSS/10883-License Enhancements) in the v6.6 milestone as this is an important feature for us, dating back to an issue from 2022. It would allow our installation to implement multi-license support.

Thanks!
Philipp
